JUNIOR ASSOCIATE
Georgia Matsentidou graduated from the University of Cyprus where she acquired her L.L.B. Honors and then from the Queen Mary University of London in UK where she received her L.L.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law.
Georgia joined Haviaras & Philippou LLC in 2021 as a trainee lawyer. She was then called to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2022 and joined the team of Haviaras & Philippou LLC.
Georgia in her thesis, during her LLM, elaborated on the following topic:
‘Respect with limits: Self-regulation of SPACs and the need for partial monitoring of managers’.
She received a high distinction among other graduates for the originality of the subject in question. Her knowledge in the field of alternative investment funds turns to be a benefit for the firm.
Georgia is regularly dealing with litigation, corporate and commercial issues. She is also partly involved in the Intellectual Property Department of the firm.
