Yiota Demetriou obtained her Law Degree (LLB) from the University of Manchester in 2014. She then acquired her L.L.M in Corporate Law from the University College of London in 2015. She became a member of Cyprus Bar Association in 2016 and she has been a practising lawyer since then. Yiota has extensive experience in the field of Insurance Law and Civil Litigation. She has handled various claims and legal disputes before the Supreme Court and the District Courts in their civil and criminal jurisdiction including personal injury claims, employers’ liability, public liability, professional negligence, contract law, debt collection and Labor Law disputes. She joined the Litigation department of our firm in 2024.
